By submitting a photo, you accept and comply with the Competition Rules and Terms of Use.

1. Anyone can submit a photo.
2. Purchase of the app is not necessary.
3. All photos must be taken by an iPhone.
4. Photos must be submitted by email from an iPhone
5. Each applicant can submit more than one photo.
6. An independent panel will review digital photographs based on the following criteria:
   1. artistic composition
   2. texture and light
   3. and overall representation of the cuteness of your dog.
   4. Only successful applicants will be contacted (via email)
7. Unacceptable Photos:
   1. inappropriate photos
   2. offensive materials will NOT be accepted
   3. photos not sent to the correct email address
   4. photos not taken with an iPhone
   5. photos missing your dog’s name
   6. photos that include humans
8. All entries must be free of claims and rights of third parties.
9. No submissions will be returned.
10. Decision of the judges is final.
11. The successful dog owners will have to write a small review (the score is up to you) to ensure the process is transparent

TO ENTER:
Entries are due by midnight Pacific Daylight Time, six weeks after the release of the app by iTunes (see “Deadline Date” below. Each photo must have been taken by an iPhone and submitted unaltered and unchanged. Each email must the name of the dog and city or country of residence. Only images in the native iPhone file format will be accepted.

TERMS OF USE:
Each submission grants to Violet Oakley Designs (VOD), a perpetual non-exclusive royalty-free license to copy, publish, distribute and display, in any medium and in any publication, venue or program sponsored or authorized by VOD, any and all photographs submitted. This license includes rights to edit, reproduce and post in Apps created by VOD. Each applicant warrants and represents that every photograph submitted is his/her own original work and that he/she has the unrestricted right to grant to VOD the license described in this paragraph.

PRIVACY POLICY:
I would rather cut off my feet and hobble around on the bloody stumps before releasing any of your private information. Your name and emil address will not but sold, traded or given away, you will not be put on a mailing list and you will never receive unsolicited correspondence from me. All email messages and addresses, and photographs not accepted for entry into the app, will be destroyed one week after the app update is released. Only information from the 45 entries selected for inclusion in the app will be retained.
